Who I is. Bon

Who I is? Well I'm just me. The names Bon, well let's see I've always enjoyed hunting though I'm not that good at it. Trapping is something I want to learn and have started cheeking out.  I want to know how to survive whether it be getting stuck out in the woods while I'm hunting to a natural disaster to the big fall of life as we know it, from the so many different ways that it could happen and I hope to help y'all learn as I do, might just help ya.  I am also a fan of learning to defend yourself in all ways.  I have trained in anything from mixed martial arts to gun's and anything else one may feel that everyone should be able to do to defend themselves and those they care about. Big problem I have is that I am legally blind.  This makes some things harder for me, but I do my best to overcome it and learn things how ever I can. So till next time be safe all.

     First off I aint no expert.  I'm a noob that has slightly educated himself in survival and homesteading and general self reliance.  Why? you ask, well I throughly believe that our prosperity that we enjoy in this once great country is coming to an end.  If you take just a short look at the national and international news you can tell some very ominous things are going on in the world.  Alot of those things are spoken of in the bible.  Things like the wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes, and other natural and man made events.  That being said if you don't know how to take care of yourself and family (and I have a large one compared to todays standards...not Duggar big.lol) you are going to be up the poop creek without a paddle.  Like I said off the bat I'm not an expert on survival, homesteading, or self reliance.  My real job is emergency medicine (paramedic) and taking care of my wonderful little family.  But to do that I need to learn how to do things the way they were done before we had all of this fancy machinery and computers.  The way our grandparents and great grandparents used to do things when they were young.  I'm not taking this adventure by myself however, I have my family and a close circle of frineds.  Hopefully I will be a source of information and entertainment to all who read our blog.

Intro

Hey every one if your reading this where not dead...yet..or maybe we are and since then this blog has taken off, crap i hope where not dead. Anyway we're just a couple of guys whom both always enjoyed hunting and most things to do with the outdoors, except weed eating... I hate weed eating. Anyway what we are doing here or trying to do is learn more about survival and living off of the land kinda stuff and hopefuly not dieing in the process but we are going to be taking you along for the ride. So enjoy, have a laugh or two at our expense and you might just learn something in the process... We hope.  After all that is the whole point of this blog.
